I played the golf course in Fillmore on the way back from St George. I've always wanted to play it, as I drive by and see it there on the freeway. We were the only ones on the course. It's not terribly maintained. All the grass (rough, fairway, green) is not mowed quite often enough, but still OK. Easy course, which is nice for me. I didn't keep score but played it between par and bogey.

Did you see I played in your neck of the woods? I would have called, but last time I tried, I got the... "Who the hell are you, and why are you texting me text." :crazy:Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostI haven't played in almost 3 weeks, this work and kids crap is for fools.

I have your number in my phone now, so now you'll only get "why are you texting me?".

Anyone playing some nice cheap irons?
I think I'm finished with my x22 tours and am looking for a more forgiving iron.
I just don't play enough to justify a higher end iron (not that the tours are super high end but I hit them much better two years ago as opposed to today)

You're not hitting them good because today is Sunday.
Craigslist is a good place to start looking. What's your budget. I've offered to make clubs for people before, I can put you in some for cost, I'd do the labor for free, 'cause its more of a hobby.
We'd pick a head. Put in some good quality shafts. Some good grips, that's all clubs really are, head, shaft grip, and rip.
Here are some good heads.
Here is a nice shaft.
Here some good grips.
The above would cost about 280 plus shipping.
OR.... you could go with the most popular clubs ever made.... Ping Eye2 for $300Last edited by clackamascoug; 08-20-2012, 12:16 AM.

I searched "good head" and "nice shaft" on Craigslist. $280 seems pretty reasonable.Originally posted by clackamascoug View PostYou're not hitting them good because today is Sunday.

Mancation 2012!
This is what our schedule looks like so far. Anyone have any ideas/recommendations? We are open for a course or two...
8/26 Morning - Talon's Cove
8/27 Afternoon - Thanksgiving Pointe
8/28 Morning - Hobble Creek
8/28 Afternoon - Gladstan
8/29 Fly Fishing
8/30 - Homestead? Soldier Hollow? Looking for a recommendation here. We have the football game that night.
8/31 - Morning - Wasatch Lakes
8/31 - Afternoon - Wasatch Mountain
9/1 - We haven't decided if we are going to Golf or fly fish. We have thought about playing both of the Mountain Dell courses. Neither of which we have played yet.
We are playing with a friend at Hobble Creek...but other than that we are wide open if anyone is interested in joining.

Good for Billy. I'd like to read an article on just how stodgy the members of Augusta really are. What's the over under for Martha Burke getting Augusta to allow Mormons as members. I say 20 years.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostAugusta has admitted two women as members. Condi Rice and Darla Moore.
