Just because you want the church to change more than you ever have doesn't mean it's going to change the way you want it to. I think religion has no place in a University setting. I think religion is the enemy of critical thinking, and critical thinking should be a priority for higher education. That's just my opinion, though.

I'm not sure if I have told this story here before, but here goes.

When my mom was at BYU she was on the track team. One day after practice, she and some teammates were walking back across campus from a work-out wearing shorts. At some point they realized that the man walking not too far in front of them was good ol Ernest. Their only hope was that he would not turn around and see them. They felt like they dodged a bullet that day when he continued merrily on his way.
