I don't know much about porn "addiction", but if one would prefer using Google Maps to catch a glimpse of sleazy billboards instead fooling around with one's wife, there's probably something seriously wrong with both parties to the marriage.Originally posted by USUC View PostIf this husband had a porn addiction, it almost certainly developed as a diversion from his wife. Gracious, get over yourself you crazy woman.

I live in Las Vegas and the idea that there's a billboard out there sleazy enough to satisfy an apparent porn addict blows my mind more than a little.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostI don't know much about porn "addiction", but if one would prefer using Google Maps to catch a glimpse of sleazy billboards instead fooling around with one's wife, there's probably something seriously wrong with both parties to the marriage.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

We're probably missing the point here. This woman has apparently locked down all of this internet access and so he's got to resort to google maps street view to catch a glimpse of the porn stars on those mobile billboards on the strip. He's a genius, really.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI live in Las Vegas and the idea that there's a billboard out there sleazy enough to satisfy an apparent porn addict blows my mind more than a little.Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. I've never understood the reasoning of those who question why people would watch porn when they can get actual sex from their partner. There's a reason people watch the NFL instead of playing an actual game of football in the park.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View PostI don't know much about porn "addiction", but if one would prefer using Google Maps to catch a glimpse of sleazy billboards instead fooling around with one's wife, there's probably something seriously wrong with both parties to the marriage."The mind is not a boomerang. lol. A nice line and a fair point, and yet the observation suggests a vast difference in the level of performance that really doesn't have to exist. SU's "sex so exquisite" comment may apply to some, but it doesn't have to. Either personally or as a Church leader I didn't care much if someone looked occasionally at porn, but if a married guy is looking at it often and always in preference to his wife, they really need to up their game. And if looking at Googled billboards is equates to watching an NFL game, there must either be some unimaginably awesome billboards or, again, the guy's got some serious problems.Originally posted by Non Sequitur View PostI've never understood the reasoning of those who question why people would watch porn when they can get actual sex from their partner. I think it is more complicated than a man preferring porn to his wife in most cases. There can be a significant difference in libido between the two, different philosophies/attitudes toward sex, excessive guilt about sex, physical discomfort during sex, inattentive partner, etc.Originally posted by PaloAltoCougar View Postlol. Yeah, I don't mean to minimize the seriousness or frequency of those issues. I'm probably spoiled, but I think that at least in most cases, the differences can be lessened (but not eliminated altogether) if the couple has a lot of honest communication and genuine love for each other. The wife's edict about Google maps suggests to me that the couple is missing either or both of those elements.Originally posted by USUC View PostI think it is more complicated than a man preferring porn to his wife in most cases. I think you all are WAY too focused on the Google maps bit. I'm intrigued to learn that there's the potential to upgrade my ring tone.Last edited by Dwight Schr-ute; 03-06-2014, 06:23 PM.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

I've always thought it would be a great idea to develop a GPS app that would talk dirty to you while giving you directions to the mall.Originally posted by Dwight Schr-ute View PostI think you all are WAY too focused on the Google maps bit. Could we have a board contest to try and capture the sexiest billboard that can be found? I remember DDD or sizzle (I always get those two confused) once posted a poll about what the sexiest I15 South one was. We need a good CS contest, it's been a while.
Edit: it was triplet, http://www.cougarstadium.com/showthr...hlight=Sexiest I hope it wasn't MMM that authored the blogGet confident, stupid

They exist in France. I know as I've seen them....many of them.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThere are billboards so exquisite..."Discipleship is not a spectator sport.
