    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Dollars to donuts, the genius racists commenting on that post think this Swahili ward is full of Somalis.

Anyone who read that article and was not happy for the members of the ward should really check themselves. I attend a Spanish ward when choir takes me away from my own, or in other words most of the time and enjoy it. I availed myself of the opportunity for translation to English when I lived overseas as well.

I've lived overseas. It was nice to have an English-speaking option (except in France).

I don't think the thought was the first one to cross my mind; however, I will confess that, "why was she shacking up with her boyfriend?" did cross my mind as I was reading about it. Of course thoughts of pancakes, football, boobies and numerous other things also crossed my mind at the same time as I read the article.

There's a good chance my mother-in-law made that comment...or would have if she could figure out how to correctly use Facebook.

                    • In the third area of my mission, there was a young seminary teacher who was an awesome dude. He and his wife had us over a lot. He did a bunch of if work for Grant Underwood as an undergrad and Grant gifted him exact replicas of the Joseph and Hyrum death masks. Decided to see what he was up to tonight.
