How? If a woman is drunk, she cannot consent and you don't have sex with her. If you have sex it is a rape and it is not accidental.

Let me pile on funk the dope. My grandfather was a giving drunk. He would get paid, then head to the bar and end up using up a lot of the paycheck buying rounds for the house well into the evening. His and his marriage's salvation was when he joined The Church and turned his back on all of that.

Alcohol absolutely impairs judgement and thinking. A big reason people drink is to lower their inhibitions. And in the context of this discussion, U.S. high school and college students drink to get drunk. Then stupidness happens.

I am still confused how alcohol does not impair your ability to make decisions, yet a woman can't consent while drunk. If she wants it while she is sober, it is not going to change when she is drunk. She is putting out either way, she is probably just down for more freaky shit when she is drunk.

No, he wasn't. There wasn't that much to give anyway, hence the burden on my Grandmother and their four daughters when he often pulled that stunt. He was stern and strict man. Kind of a cut up sometimes, but very strict and disciplined. I guess what you are implying is that deep inside he was irresponsible with his resources, giving them away to the detriment of his family. Thank goodness he was able to quash his real inner self by giving up the imbibing.
