Interesting suggestion from Holland to request the movie by offering to "buy out" an entire showing of MtM. I'm glad he added the caveat to only do this if one could actually follow through.

Wouldn't want a Tim Dechristopher situation.

"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

I really like Ken Nuimatalolo. I kind of want to see it to learn more about him.

And I'll only charge you $5.

I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

For those that go on opening night, please use spoiler tags here if you absolutely can't wait to talk about the movie.

Never fear. The critical timeframe is opening weekend. Go see it on Sunday.

This really sounds like a bad movie idea. The Equalizer sounds like a better movie idea.

Ha, didn't think about that. The theaters are going to be empty on sunday. I doubt this movie makes it out of the first weekend after that.

Maybe my bishop will reserve a theater for Sunday @ 11 a.m.

This is the second time I've seen someone state that this film is not a proselyting effort. Well what is it if it isn't meant to proselytize? It doesn't fit in any of the other missions of the church.

I wonder if they were worried about members being scared bringing non-member friends, if it ended up being a missionary discussion. Or if the word 'proselytize' didn't go over too well with their test viewers.
