I have it on good authority that you can not go home teaching for several years and still be given a calling that requires being ordained a high priest. Just giving you fair warning.

I appreciate the heads up. I would have assumed otherwise but I believe you. Fortunately, my ward encourages members to say no to callings if they don't want to do them.

Part of a pilot program to evaluate whether we should go back to having church meetings spread more throughout the week. I vote no.

I'll say it again: There is never anything humble about my bragging.

Our SP was our HT for a year, we never saw him once so you can continue to be a terrible HT and still keep your calling also.

Worst HT companion I ever had was my Bishop.

I appreciated the bullet points on those powerpoint slides from Elder Holland.

                        • "Meet the Mormons" will be showing 4 miles from my house. Unfortunately it is on October 10, and I will still be down in Orlando after watching BYU beat UCF.

That is great that the net proceeds go to the Red Cross.

I wonder what the production costs were. Will there be any net proceeds? I don't see this as a huge demand film, but I suspect the costs were low too.
