Are you saying that Reid is worse than the fictional Governor?

      • Artist and Warhol superstar, Ultra Violet, had died. She became a Mormon in the 80's and was devout until her death. Given her history, it seems the Strengthening Church Members Committee is a little too late here.

How do you know that they did not their work very well?
"Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

She lived in Nice, France while I served my mission there. Solon may have met her, sadly I never did.

One of my companions told me of the day he spent at her apartment and she had been commissioned to do a valentines thing for Tiffany's (if I recall correctly). So the missionary was helping her on her computer with a graphics program showing her what could be done on it. He did a bunch of stuff with the word "Love" (or something like that) and copy and pasted it over and over on the page in different ways. She looked at it and said that looks good, and as he tells it, she submitted what he had done. <end random story>

              • I've never heard of her, but I liked this quote:

“I have infinite imagination. Maybe I don’t have too much technique.”
It's analagous to Mormon theology in a lot of meaningful ways.

                  Very fascinating life.

In 1973, Ultra Violet had a near-death experience, for which she blamed her habits of excess in the decade before. In the 1980s, she condemned the rampant drug use, orgiastic sex and unchecked egotism at the Factory, repented for her part in it and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A buddy of mine was in that bishopric. Said the same thing about the bishop and Tom Christofferson.
