  • I empathize with you Ted. The "enlightened" crowd really get a kick out mocking of those who are not in line with their thinking.

They usually pick on old senile people. I have enjoyed watching you kicking their asses even if they don't realize it.

But I am pretty sure that when we get to the bottom of this, what Uncle Ted is really trying to say is that Texas is awesome.
I said that back on page one of this thread:

And now you are finally getting it.

She is mentioned in this article, is a Mormon, and therefore istechnically a Mormon in the news. Her story, IMO, is much less interesting than that of the high-powered PI attorney who is essentially trying to buy our local judiciary.

Sadly, I am not surprised. Out of college Arthur Anderson was touting how many mormons they were hiring and had in the firm. The percentage of managers and Partners that were LDS far exceded any of the other then "Big Eight" firms.

Arthur Anderson was the firm that went out of business mainly because of their fraudulent dealings with Enron. Don't get me wrong, I don't think LDS and BYU grads are more inclined to be dishonest or unethical, but suprisingly they are not significantly better when it comes to honesty in business or as Harry Reid demonstrates, politics.

My guess would be it is because chastity, WOW and keeping the Sabbath day Holy are emphasized so much, honesty doesn't seem like a priority.

        • [QUOTE=Uncle Ted;1092101]I never said it makes Bundy any less racist. As I pointed out it seems makes he so stupid he doesn't even know that he was being racist.

So you are saying that the NY Times took this out-of-focus video that was published on youtube? LOL. Things at the NY Times must be going down hill fast.

The video was edited (the rest of his remarks were removed) and then published on youtube. Why didn't the NYT simply link to the full video (which is also available online)? Oh hol

            • Cliven Bundy has now inspired redneck idiots everywhere to pull out the guns and threaten federal workers. Some poor guy just doing his job in Juab county gets a Glock pointed at him.

Government workers now having to remove stickers from vehicles out of concern for their safety. Constitution-loving patriots, my ass.

              • Black US senate candidate is all in for Bundy.

                http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...-cliven-bundy/

Looks like he is dead last out of seven candidates with about 1.5% of the vote. This is what a truly desperate candidate must resort to, I suppose.

I will leave it to Uncle Ted to tell us how this makes Texas awesome.

Because only in Texas would a black politician support a guy who thinks black people are better off as slaves? Is that how it's done?

He is a candidate in Georgia, not Texas.

Good point, if he was in Texas he probably wouldn't be in last place.

BLM employees in San Juan County have had windows shot out of their homes and their yards torn up by ATVs in the middle of the night.

Except for the whole FBI investigation to support Reid's comment.
