DB, it is good to see you support this great American Mormon patriot. By the way, here is a recent quote from Bundy:
This is what constitution-loving patriots do, right? They refuse to recognize the very thing established by the constitution."I abide by all of Nevada state laws. But I don’t recognize the United States government as even existing."
I am glad to see Bundy is committed to abiding by Nevada state law. Here is an except from the Nevada state constitution:
"But the Paramount Allegiance of every citizen is due to the Federal Government in the exercise of all its Constitutional powers as the same have been or may be defined by the Supreme Court of the United States;"
"The Constitution of the United States confers full power on the Federal Government to maintain and Perpetuate its existence, and whensoever any portion of the States, or people thereof attempt to secede from the Federal Union, or forcibly resist the Execution of its laws, the Federal Government may, by warrant of the Constitution, employ armed force in compelling obedience to its Authority.""There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I agree Reid is looking bad but I also hope you don't rely on Alex Jones' media such as infowars too much.

Very stupid statement. Too bad because I have empathy for his cause, but statements like this make it tough supporting him.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostDB, it is good to see you support this great American Mormon patriot. By the way, here is a recent quote from Bundy:
He reminds of Harry Reid and Eric Holder letting their mouths run wild withouth thinking. If all of them actually thought through what they were going to say and then said it, then it is really, really too bad.

I find it hilarious as I went through all the posts for this thread (Trying to see where I revealed my stance) and seeing the tantrum you threw to BYU71 when he raised the question on your stance on the subject.. Hell it takes up a majority of the pages on this thread..Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostDB, it is good to see you support this great American Mormon patriot. But here you are.. Making the same assumption of where I stand.. Well done JL. Well done...

Sorry DB. Given that every third or fourth post for the past few pages is you posting some pro-Bundy/anti-fed links I naturally assumed you were sympathetic to his cause. My apologies."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Couldn't BYU71 make the same assumption of that towards you? Since every other post from you was how saving a species is the holy grail over cows and ranchers..Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostSorry DB. For me, its pretty simple and it is the only point I truly made known. I hate Reid. And his involvement that makes him look bad is hard to pass up..

I never said that.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostCouldn't BYU71 make the same assumption of that towards you? Since every other post from you was how saving a species is the holy grail over cows and ranchers..
That's odd. Many of your posts don't even mention Reid.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostFor me, its pretty simple and it is the only point I truly made known. I hate Reid. And his involvement that makes him look bad is hard to pass up..
What exactly is your stance on the whole Bundy standoff?"There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

LOL. Governor Herbert's actions of blocking the sell of the Bundy cattle in Utah is that of a constitution-loving patriot?"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/politic...y-blm.html.cspBLM holsters plan to sell seized cattle in Utah
Cattle seized from public land in Nevada were once headed to Richfield for auction — but federal officials have changed their plans after Utah leaders argued the animals would threaten the state’s $1 billion livestock industry.
And any showdown over the controversial roundup should remain in Nevada, according to an April 2 letter Utah Gov. Gary Herbert sent to the acting Bureau of Land Management director, Neil Kornze.

They can send the skinny Bundy cattle down to Texas. We'll fatten them up and have a BBQ."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.

He is really doing that? We give our politicians way, way too much power. They aren't nearly as smart at telling people what they can and can't do as they think they are. I wonder what poll he read to come to this conclusion?Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostLOL. Governor Herbert's actions of blocking the sell of the Bundy cattle in Utah is that of a constitution-loving patriot?
Edit: Still believe what I just said. However, reading the actual statement, I now see what is being blocked is Bundy's "seized" cattle not Bundy's cattle. I am OK with Herbert's actions.Last edited by byu71; 04-21-2014, 08:43 AM.
