I just had an epiphany.
I think the construction of mini-temples is a way for church leaders to project the image of rapid growth when in fact the Church is shrinking or stable at best in terms of active membership.
This conference, they announced no new temples. Sounds like an inflection point to me.
They are probably going to have to start closing and selling temples within the next decade.
