What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

In all my 37 years I can truy say I have never wanted to go to church.

Too bad you're not in my ward. Imma bout to drop some serious Lorenzo knowledge on the quorum that's specifically related to baptism and gifts of the Holy Ghost. Its gonna get real.

One # is busy and the other I left a message. We never really ate breakfast down there. We loved a joint in Old Metairie called Dot's Diner.

I think we're just doing sac and back today. Maybe brunch before.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Sac and back. I will be stealing that phrase for future use.

The GD P.F. Chang's rocknrolla marathon messes up my sunday vibe every year. The damn thing runs on my street, so in order to get to my ward building, which is a 2 minute drive away, I have to backtrack through back streets and get on two freeways to make it there in just under thirty minutes. And back.

I was totally planning on walking to church, but i woke up too late to make it to choir rehearsal before sacrament meeting, and I don't wanna face the scorn of the director. Ah well.

I'd rather be home playing Far Cry 3 or Black Ops 2. Or having sex with my wife.

Joseph Fielding McConkie did not want to go to church one sunday as a kid. Dad happened to be home a rarity as he was at Stake Conferences most of the time. Son exercised agency to stay home. DAd said go willingly or unwillingly.

It is do dang cold here for too dang long come on global warming. Well last week broiler quit working when first ward was meeting. Before that. So all we had last week was SAcrament Meeting. Postponed ward conference too. Nice to have weeks like that. Chapel was actually fairly warm. Rest of building wasn't though.

I didn't in an effort to stymie the spread of influenza.

My wife suggested that we go camping at least two weekends per month this year, including the Sundays. We need to spend quality time together as a family, and fighting the kids to get ready/combatting the potty talk during church/fighting for the rest of the day over the fact that we had to go to church in the first place isn't her definition of quality family time. I am 100% OK with that.
