How many Democrats are represented here? Reid? Well, Reid's simply being a Democrat is way down the list of the problems with this guy.Originally posted by Solon View Post
Let's just start with the fact that none of the other politicians listed have publicly accused Reid of "sullying" the Mormon faith.

Did Reid say that? I thought he just said that Romney doesn't represent the LDS faith, which I thought was a pretty fair statement.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostHow many Democrats are represented here? Reid? I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

I am fine with "not the face of the LDS Church" bit, but claiming someone "sullied" the faith is being an asshole.Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostDo Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Yeah, that is assholeish.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostI am fine with "not the face of the LDS Church" bit, but claiming someone "sullied" the faith is being an asshole.
Romney's got plenty of dirt under his fingernails too. (how about peddling cigarettes to teenagers?)
To me, political position is the only real difference between Reid & Romney. Categorically, they're the same - well respected men in positions of national leadership. So, political ideology is an important part (to Mormons) of what makes a good representative Mormon (to the Mormons in the survey).
Or am I stretching there?"More crazy people to Provo go than to any other town in the state."
