SAT = Scholastic Assessment Test. At least now. It was formerly the Scholastic Aptitude Test. Those bastards changed the defination after we took it...and I just lost a bet with my 17-year old son (who had just taken the test) over it and had to do his dishes as a result.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostOr, he might mean Scholastic Aptitude Test. Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

"how they scored on their SAT's"Originally posted by Scorcho View Postthis explains why when you ask someone how their SAT's went they always look exhausted and appear nervous about how they did.

Despite his long practice of taking plural wives and his issuance of a revelation -- to close associates only -- that justified polygamy, Smith continued publicly to deny all such charges. Moreover, those who accused him -- including William and Wilson Law, who are named in the speech -- were defamed as "false swearers" and "wolves," whose charges were "of the devil." Two months earlier, in another speech, he had accused the Laws and other dissenters of conspiring to murder him, and he repeated that charge here. As this document reveals, Joseph Smith employed public denunciation as an important means of counteracting his critics. (John E. Hallwas and Roger D. Do you think any man has ever lived that didn't tell at least one lie. Do you think Dan Peterson believes Joseph Smith never told a single lie his entire life? Did he state that?Originally posted by DWhitmer View Post"Leaving a general conference session a couple of weeks ago, I noticed a demonstrator holding a sign announcing that Joseph Smith had 'lied.'
