Once again, you've never been a teenaged boy nor a father of a daughter.

I know what teenage boys are thinking because I was once a teenage boy. Because I know what is going through their minds, I've had many quality conversations with my daughter and let her know how the teenage male mind works. Teen boys don't think that a bit of harmless kissing is nice - they're thinking about how to get into her bra and panties while they are kissing her.

For the record, my 14 year old son knows that the day he tries to do the same to a girl, I will gladly inform her parents and my son will have to face her dad.

Once again, you've never been a teenaged girl... They don't all just think kissing is "nice."
What's to explain? It's a bunch of people, most of whom you've never met, who are just as likely to be homicidal maniacs as they are to be normal everyday people, with whom you share the minutiae of your everyday life. It's totally normal, and everyone would understand.

Look, I know girls can be just as horny as boys, but when you're a teenager it doesn't take two to tango - it takes two to stay off the dance floor. If one person in a couple wants to get lucky it will eventually happen, because every adolescent is going to have a weak moment.

I've been a boy. Teenage boys have a one-track mind because testosterone courses through their veins in volumes that make the trans-Alaskan pipeline look like the dribbling urine stream of a 70-year-old man. If he's touching her boob it's because he can't quite make it to her pants - but he hopes to. Thinking he'll stop at the boob is like thinking a juiced up A-Rod would stop at first after wacking one to deep left - ain't gonna happen.

As for my boys, I'm hoping that after 14 hours of irrigating and fencing every day of their teenage existence, there won't be enough time left for them to hit anything but singles.

That's an interesting comment though. In this instance the girl was complicit. But I think the Church has a way of absolving girls of any wrongdoing in these situations.

You'd rather they hit married women? Widows?

I'm sick of everyone bagging on A-Rod! First of all, he didn't take steroids. He just took some Boli and only because his cousin talked him into it!

That's seriously the only motivation I have for staying in business sometimes. The family heritage thing is nice, and all, but when the market is going to hell and I'm struggling to make ends meet, the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that this is the best way in the world to raise kids.

I was a major hell-raiser in high school, but I didn't get in nearly as much trouble as my friends because my dad worked me from daylight to dark. The rule in my house was the later I got in, the earlier I got up. I came home at 2:30 one morning, and I was up by 3:30 saddling horses. We trailed cows until dark that day, and I stayed home that night while the rest of my friends were partying.

                                20 seconds of boobie touch?

Uh, how about a stern talking to by the parents....then send them on their way and forget about it. Just another piece of crap that doesn't need to involve an overworked and underpaid bishop. Sheesh, we really are a "peculiar" people.
