If I'm the angel assigned to that prayer, I'm not going to answer it in only 5 seconds. If the guy hasn't already looked in his wallet, I'm going to let him sweat it out for at least another 15 minutes.

If it were my assignment, I'd appear with a flaming or drawn sword and command him to look beyond his own wallet and to other men's wallets, often without the other men knowing it, eventually taking the other men's wallets for himself. old wallets, really new wallets, 20 wallets, 30 wallets, sometimes more. Of course none of this would be problematic because where this guy lives, there were too many wallets and not enough pockets so this guy would actually be doing the wallets a favor. Also, despite taking so many wallets, there would never exist any real proof that the guy ever opened up the wallets and searched inside them.

Somewhere, the good Dr. Peterson is nodding in approval.

We've got a real interesting dynamic going on these days. A lady with Alzheimer's gets up every couple months. She rambles on, and gets really crazy. She starts crying about how much she loves her kids and her grandkids and tells random stories that make no sense, like you would expect from someone with Alzheimer's. There's some real tension in the room as everyone wonders if the bishop is going to have to get up and pull her off the stand, but she always seems to get it together and end before it gets to that point. I have lost bets with wife the last two times, as I was sure she was going to have to get dragged off, but it hasn't happened yet.

Heavenly Mother made an appearance today in one woman's testimony. She (the woman, not Heavenly Mother) gets bonus points for doing this with the Stake President visiting and on the stand.

Babies that survive the whooping cough are evidence of God's love. Also, the Japanese will soon join the church en masse because the Church has such a large internet presence now.

We had a missionryy give a powerful testimony of Bruce R. He mentioned how before he came out he didn't know anything about BRM, but since being out he has realized how much amazing stuff he did. No exact mentions of what all he did.

Interesting to see Apostles I grew up with start to take on legend status in my lifetime some years after death. My grandmother went to school with Ezra Taft Benson and used to say that if "Ezra Benson" can become prophet, then anyone of her boys could do the same thing.
                            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

For someone who had just recently 'come out', BRM is not the most friendly apostle that comes to mind...

I think Bruce R. mellowed after becoming an apostle. Also remember this young RM read all of the cleaned up versions of BRM's writing.
