I think it is him, mostly because this is much more how I would like him to look than any other portrayal I have seen.

It is pretty convincing— his general profile kind of does resemble that of his death mask, I guess. Hard to tell if the photo gives him JS’s prominent nose and cheek bones… however, the brow line in the photo is very severe and dramatic, which would have been prominent in other portrayals.

I like this photograph, but I am old enough to recall when another photograph was found that was purported to be Joseph. Turned out to be someone else.
