My wife, but, now we feel like we have a better understanding of why our kids are so challenging.

Hey, it could be worse. You could live in a cold climate.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

For sure, those winters in Indiana when the Polar Vortex brought -20 degree highs were like Kryptonite for the entire family.

Except me of course, the Swedish ancestry actually made me feel more comfortable in subzero weather.

I feel for you. My wife is polynesian. A guy in our stake was a mission president on her home island and came to our ward to talk when he returned home. He started talking about how the people were good-natured but not intelligent and had problems with obedience and it was a huge challenge for he and his wife to learn to deal with this and then, as he was talking, his gaze came to my wife, who he had known for over a decade and who he knew was from that island and he suddenly stammered and tried to backpedal and ended up just making it worse. It happens. Oddly, my wife did not take this as proof that the church isn't true and she has remained active.
          PLesa excuse the tpyos.

She probably wasn't intelligent enough to understand what he was saying.

I'm relieved that I'm not the only one that considered that possibility.

You two are lucky she doesn't read the board. With her severe polynesian temper issue she might take you both out. Trust me on this.

I'm not worried. I'd just flee to cooler climes.

I'm already there. We had snow on the ground this morning.

                      • I am still confused about what is actually meant by "problems with obedience"? They are even worse than the rest of the church in doing their hometeaching?

I don't know why but I just pictured the very old SNL skit where the police would come to the White House because Hillary was abusing Bill.

                          • Really disappointed in Bro. Holmoe's example to our youth this morning, teaching them that sneakers are totally appropriate footwear to compliment with a suit. I thought I caught a photo but apparently the spirit constrained me.
I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

                              • I learned that the descendants of Parly P. Pratt get together in Missouri in July to celebrate his escape from prison...they celebrate with a run.
