That was almost as long as the movie!

Kind of cute, kind of patronizing.

I learned that I'm supposed to teach the lesson "Heavenly Father Commands Nephi to Build a Ship." What does the CS illuminati consider to be the main point of that passage (1 Nephi 17)?

"If God wanted us to have tattoos he would have put them on us when we were born". Youth speaker in Sacrament.

It made we wonder if that would be true about clothes also.

I find it a metaphor for life, and in seeking out guidance from the Lord in finding the means to get your family safely through the rough waters of life.

Thanks. I ended up learning that if you bring a lot of paper, scissors, and glue sticks and tell the boys to build boats, you don't have to spend much time discussing the source material.

Time left and counselor in bishopric took a few minutes quoting Joe J Christensen and someone else that quoted him. His talk on Jesus counting on you and mentioned young men are obligated to go on missions, not if this or that happens. Anyway he mentioned lowering mission age and said it goes for women too. More women are going on missions now. However women have no obligation to go on missions, and there are many hat have no business being out there too. Priesthood obligation and opportunity for some sisters.

Not bad. We taught that one 2 weeks ago, and had the kids build ships out of mini marshmallows and toothpicks. It made quite an impression; they were still talking about it today.

Skip to the 9:25 mark. The dancing, and the obligatory "we love you sisters" note at the end is fantastic and all you could ever hope for from an BYU EQ.

The youtube comments are great. Chivalry is far from dead.

It was announced today that for various reasons the wards in our building will no longer overlap. So we are moving to 11:30...and then in January 3-6. Thank goodness we are moving before that happens.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
