Is it impossible? We might not be successful in disrespecting him but couldn't we still try? Even if we don't succeed due to his omniscience, isn't an effort to disrespect still worthy of condemnation?Originally posted by Katy Lied View PostThis is an impossible concept with omniscient beings. Another example of how our human frailties don't allow us to understand the true meaning of doctrine.
Of course, I seriously doubt being late would constitute disrespect to the savior by any measure.PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I think she meant the "to his face" part. As opposed to what, doing it behind his back? Like he's not gonna notice? Nice try.Originally posted by creekster View PostIs it impossible? Your regional authority might want to dust off a couple talks by prophets, this one being the first:Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostWe had a stake priesthood thing this morning and the regional authority guy said we should tell our wives that being late to sacrament is the same as disrespecting the savior to his face. Sorry, Sisters.

I looked as if it were across this valley, and it seemed to be filled with a vast multitude of people, but on the stage were all the people that I had known. Yes, I got that. That's my point. Of course it doesn't make a difference to Him, but it might to us with respect to what we think we are doing. But, as with most of my posts, it is such a little point that it really isn't worth it.Originally posted by All-American View PostI think she meant the "to his face" part. I learned that the BYU men's basketball team attended my ward this morning, "including college basketball Player of the Year - Taylor Hawes." And Danny Ainge. I thought I saw on here that the team was staying at Planet Hollywood, but the closest hotel to our chapel would be the JW Marriott.
I really should start attending sacrament meeting. Between these guys and Donny and Marie from a few months ago, I'm starting to get jealous.I told him he was a goddamn Nazi Stormtrooper.

I had it in rotation worth two other guys 2 weeks on 1 off. It was great. kids just play while we sat there and surfed on our phones. Then we would go on another room have snacks and sing some songs then go bad and play. With 5 minutes left we clean up and then blow bubbles.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostMy wife and I got snagged to sub in nursery last minute.
