McNaughton's latest masterwork, Great RINOs, is accompanied some sophomoric doggerel identifying all of his subjects as traitorous. McCain (who fought the VC and was seriously injured fighting for his country) was a traitor; while Trump (who meanwhile was fighting only VD and later withheld US aid to Ukraine for personal political benefit) isn't. It others me that there are lots of people stupid enough to share McNaughton's views.

Every person I have ever dealt with that used the term RINO has been at least just a little off, most are way off. I like how they get to decide what a Republican is or not. Really what they are more like is the John Birch Society.
