    I have never made it to Langer's. I freely admit the rye at Katz's is nothing special, but I have a hard time believing better pastrami exists. I will be in the LA area for Christmas so I'll take the challenge and return and report.

        I like East Coast Subs near IMC hospital. That is a pretty good sandwich place.

          Being a fan of cheap eats, I live me a good deli. As woot and mrd will attest, this is the best anywhere: http://www.zingermansdeli.com/

          Disregard the fact that mrd also thinks there is good Mexican in Detroit...this really is amazing.
          At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

                        Best baklava I've ever had was from a bakery in Detwah. My client brought me a huge tray of it as a Christmas gift. It never made it home with me.

                                Somebody was telling me there is a good italian deli here in scottsdale, but I scoffed b/c I generally believe this ^^ to be true. Maybe I'm just denying myself good food b/c of snobbery...
