I still need to check that out.

There is a place up I-90 outside Seattle that 8BR took me that was awesome. I can't remember the name and 8Ball seems to not be around much anymore, of course it is more than 1 mile from downtown so Grace has no idea it even exists.

lay off Grace. Do you know how hard it is to ride a 10 speed more than 1 mile? It's really hard, man.

I'm good with pretty much any deli meat except turkey. Yuck.

i like katz, but it's too much of a spectacle. carnegie is an overrated tourist trap. 2nd ave deli is probably my favorite.

10 speed? I would have guessed fixed gear.

It is well established that I have a 10 speed. Where have you been? You should see me ride that thing after a few Sazeracs.

Made it to 2nd Ave Deli for the first time today (which isn't even on 2nd Ave!). I didn't want to wait sit down, so I took it to go and walked over and ate at a chess table in a park on 2nd Ave to make my location match my sandwich.

Rye was definitely better than Katz's. So was the mustard and even the pickles. But the pastrami doesn't measure up for me. It was solid. May even go into my #2 slot. I'd have to try Ben's again to compare. But it doesn't match the perfect smoked, juicy goodness of the thick cut Katz's pastrami slices that hold together just long enough to take a bite.

Looking forward to the Langer's challenge over Christmas.
