Coker has a boathouse with a large pit BBQ grill. I'm also using the oven in the boathouse and at home, and the two portable ovens I have. I'm cooking some of the briskets in the ovens, and the boston butts in the portable ovens. The feijoada's going in three different crock pots here in a few. I forgot that I also got a full sirloin tip too. cowboy should be proud of the $500 in beef I bought today."Wuap's "problem" is that he is smart & principled & committed to a moral course of action. That sounds like quite the undertaking! Have a blast. I think your chimichurri recipe is here someplace, and I hope to try it soon.Originally posted by wuapinmon View PostSo, tomorrow, for Brazentina Night at Coker College, I'm cooking a full Argentina Parrillada"What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

I've got two butts on right now. However all I want to see right now are pics of waup's meat.

Haven't put them on the smoker yet. We aren't eating until about 6 tomorrow so I just set my alarm for 4 and I am going to throw them on then. Should I put them on earlier?Last edited by Hot Lunch; 09-23-2012, 12:27 AM."Take it to the Bank"

boneless. 13 pounds between the two. As of right now, I think I am just going to stay awake until 4 and throw them on. I am in a bad mood and it doesn't make sense to fall asleep for 2.5 hours and get up again.Originally posted by CJF View PostBone in or boneless? Weight? Boneless, that should be plenty of time. I'm doing bone in and it can take me about 16 hours or so. Boneless seems to go much faster.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View Postboneless. 13 pounds between the two. As of right now, I think I am just going to stay awake until 4 and throw them on. Oh he did though. It just wasn't tonight. He hired a 25 year old offensive coordinator with only two years of coaching experience under his belt. He also hired an offensive line coach that had 1 year of coaching experience prior to this season.Originally posted by CJF View PostBoneless, that should be plenty of time. 16 hours later and my butts are both at 165. We are supposed to eat in two hours. I just pulled them, wrapped and put in the oven at 400. I bought a beautiful tip yesterday. That is now on the smoker as my back up.

EDIT: Never mind. I saw your post above. Amazing what kind of difference that makes."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

I was too busy to remember to take photos of all the meat, and I was so tired when I got home that just about every major muscle in my body cramped. I almost threw-up it hurt so bad when my inner thighs cramped in the night. I'm getting too old for this shit. Here's one photo after 8 hours of cooking.
