Whoa. That looks great. Let me know how it works out.

We have a party tomorrow night at my brother's house so I am cooking 64 wings. Yikes.

Let the record show that the max number of wings that will fit on my Traeger is 54.

Shaka, you will be happy you went with the larger model.

I did orange sriracha wings again today. Trying to empy the freezer and I found 24 wings - I was afraid they'd be a little freezer-burned, but with the rub and the glaze they were fine.

54 wings? Sounds like a party.

It will be interesting to see how many I can get on. I figure I can get around 100. On Superbowl Sunday I will be doing two pork butts for sandwiches followed by two rounds of wings. Yes the masses will be fed.

What are the dimensions of your grill?

My smoker or gas grill? I'm doing everything on the Traeger Texas which has 646 square inches of cooking space. The pulled pork will be done long before I have to cook the wings. I plan on having one set of wings done before the game and the other cooked by the end of the half.

                Gotcha. That will work.

Did you do pulled pork this weekend?

No, the rain and snow wrecked things. I am going to try and do it next weekend to get some practice. I still need to find an injector. Maybe I'll order one tonight instead of trying to find one locally. I was up at the Bullfrog Spas place in Orem on Saturday and picked up a product that's made to be injected into pulled pork. It will be interesting to see how it works out.

Buck up, amigo. Don't let a little rain and snow stop you.

I need to try that recipe next. It looks great. You should have posted some pics.

                    Yes. Big party.

Did two flavors today. Along with the mandarin sauce, I tried some teriyaki wings using yoshida sauce. I wish the yoshida sauce was thicker, but it tasted quite good. It seemed the mandarin sauce was more popular.

I'm drooling. Those look awesome. I wonder if Yoshidas would work if some corn starch was used to thicken it up a bit.

JL, you just gave me an idea to try. I think I will try Panda Express Orange Chicken sauce on some wings. That might be pretty good.

Ahhh, it's good to know that I'm not the only fan of Panda Express sauces. I love the kung pao.

Hey that is a good idea. Do they still sell that at Costco?

I wonder if that raspberry chipotle sauce they sell would be good on wings. I have a bottle of that kicking around here somewhere. Might have to try that next time.

I think starting with a good healthy dose of rub initially makes a big difference with wings. It gives it a good base of flavor that you can leverage with the glaze/sauce.

Wings are a lot of fun because they are easy and they don't take very long to cook.
