  • I do like Denny's for old times sake and so I can feel like a blue collar democrat every now and again.

Also Chik-fil-a is more edible than most fast food joints.

Good call. Went there for the first time last summer and was pleasantly surprised.

      Kid-friendly, too.

          • Since there are a few international places on here.

            I will include this place:

            [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Astor%27s[/ame]

I've eaten there a couple times but haven't been there in 10 years or so.

I mostly like the creative name. The food was pretty good though.

              • I'll put in another vote for Original Pancake House. They are certainly not the most "bargain" breakfast restaurants, but they are GOOOD.

BTW, the place started out as a Portland Original. You go to the original Original in SW Portland and it's not any different than going to any other singular, local restaurant.

                The place is fantastic.

Speaking of national chains, does Elmer's count? I know they are on the West Coast and...wait for it...Pocatello. When it comes to breakfast places, Elmer's is head and shoulders above Denny's, IHOP, whatever other crap.

                • I just found this thread. I may vastly in the minority here, but I really like Chili's, especially their fajitas.

I haven't been to Chili's in years but I always enjoyed their burgers. I can always find something I will be satisfied with at most national chains though.

I really like the Orignal Itallian from Jersey Mike's. I havent tried much else from the chain but i have been getting a #13 from them about once a week for the last month.

Hey first time I saw this thread.

There is a Famous Dave's in Minneapolis near where my daughter lives. Agree with you, Famous Dave's is good not great.

Racking my brain here. It's been years since I've eaten at Cheesecake Factory. I guess that would be on my list. And Five Guys.

Anthony's isn't really national but it's a chain in the PNW. It's decent.

#13 is always my go to at Jersey Mike's. Mike's way + mayo, mustard, and pepper relish.

This might be the most surprising and out of character post ever on this board. It would be like if fusnik ever made a post that insinuated that he’s poor.
