I've never really gotten into the other game types. For a while I played Headquarters, but it just seemed to be a constant rush towards one area of the map after another. Kinda boring. I've never liked capture the flag type games, going all the way back to Halo. The one game type I've never been bored with is just straight up "kill the other guy." I could play TDM (or FFA) all day every day and not get bored with it. So for me, there's just never been any reason to try anything else.

I feel the exact same. I can play the other game types and I understand the strategy of each game. There are some that I like (domination, headquarters), others are okay (demolition, search and destroy, FFA) and some that I HATE (CTF), but I never tire of TDM. I think that there is more competition on TDM than any other gametype. It is the O.G.

I actually do play quite a bit of domination when I'm not running with the group. I am a freak of nature in domination too.

BTW, kaminari claire is tearing it up. K/D of 1.72, and still only level 21.

So far, I'm unimpressed with the new maps. The respawn areas are worse than Rust, especially on Salvage and Crash.

You can play TDM but if you want to play just the new maps the only options are Moshpit and hardcore TDM.

If you want to play new and old maps you can play whatever you want.

I've found I have a better K/D ratio in most other match types than TDM. I like domination, probably second best behind TDM.

I do the best in domination - and that's the only place I really try for nukes anymore.

It is pretty easy to get a high K/D in domination especially if you have no intention of capturing any of the flags.

Agreed. I do hate the people that just try to play domination like TDM, though - if that's what you want, play TDM.

My strategy on domination is very simple: get two flags and hold them. Let them have the third. Certain ones (flag A in Crash, flag B in Favela) are too difficult to take after the initial salvos so I focus on the others. Where I really rack up the kills, though, is defending the flags we have two. I freely admit to using a class that Phat and I call "for bitches": noob tube with scavenger and danger close. It makes defending too easy - you just lob a grenade towards any flag under attack, and problem solved.
