wuap, 1337, sosce and i got absolutely pounded in this one lobby tonight. i actually threw my ps3 controller so hard against the wall the grip is no broken.

That was seriously the worst gaming night I've ever had. Going back to Team Fortress Half-Life and even Rise of the Triad. Ugh! One guy had a turbo stick, which sucked (rapid-fire FAL), but the other ones were just freaking unbelievable.

I did okay on the new maps last night. Not great, but decent, considering I didn't know the maps and bunches of people did. There were a couple of times I had my nuke streak going only to get senselessly killed by somebody. It's different playing with my nuke streak on all the time, that's for sure.

I had one game on Invasion where I got murdered. Couldn't do anything right. I turned off the Xbox and went to bed.

This weekend is an exercise in discipline. With the double EXP weekend, it's tempting to prestige again. But I will hold strong - I'm not starting all over again.

I'm also thinking about redoing my classes a bit. I am not really feeling it with the ACR lately, so I think I'm going to start using the M16 more. Also, I'm starting to really dig the Spas-12. Completely different usage profile than the Akimbo Rangers - Akimbo Rangers is all about overwhelming you with firepower at point-blank range in rapid fire (unless there are multiple people, I typically fire all four shots at once). The Spas-12 is the better gun by far - I just need to get used to it.

I will be on tonight - the missus has book club and I am declining to participate. Day off tomorrow so I can play very late. I have a new headset (Tritton AX720 - falafel is right, that thing is awesome!) so I can talk to you folks during games.

This is the one that I picked up, and I love it. The one problem is when I am watching Little Robin, I get no sound. The breakout box has inputs for a couple of other headsets, but where do you get a cheap headset that can plug into that box?

Good point. It's not an issue for me, as I'm the only one that plays. I had to literally take the headset off three or four times last night to be sure I was hearing my headset and not the surround sound in my media room. Incredible earphones, especially for that price.

I would really like those Trittons, but I cannot justify spending $130 on them. Heck, I am still trying to convince myself that I should spend $15 for the new maps.

I think learning the new maps is more important. I think I've got Overgrown and Bailout mostly figured out.

It was finally nice to talk to you. We knew that if we said "Niku look out" that you would hear us. Now if we try to help you get a nuke you will also be able to tell us not to run around shooting in the air trying to get killed for you.

We will also have to stop making fun of you during the games as well.

I have overgrown figured out. I am not sold on Bailout. I struggled but I think once I figure that map out, I will like it.

Overgrown Tactics change a lot. There will be a time, coming soon, that you will not want to attempt to cross either bridge for about the first minute of each game. Snipers set up quickly on both sides and get a quick 2-3 kills instantly. I love that map though. So many different ways to play it.
