I found out the other day, that if you stand with a riot shield and face down a Harrier, it will keep shooting you, and you'll get a lot of points at first, but then, the points start clicking down to +4 +3 +2, then it flies away.


The same thing goes for a sentry gun.

Interesting. I've used a riot shield in one multiplayer game. One of these days I will give it another try. About how many points do you get at first with the harrier?

it depends how much damage the riot shield absorbs. If you post up in front of a sentry gun you can take a ton of damage, which gives you a ton of xp. I've gotten 500+ several times.

Did you just prestige? I can't think of any other reason to be using that gun.

I did just prestige again actually, thank you for noticing. I like the M4 though, you just have to know how to use it.

I downloaded the new maps and enjoyed my afternoon. Very fun and a good way to mix things up a bit. I played the stimulus dlc. It seemed that the noons are out in groves again.

Around 500, like Leet said. The problem is, once it targets you, you're pinned down, any move and you're toast. I've tried to move and see if the points would start over, but I can't move an inch without getting liquefied.

The M4 Carbine is a great gun. It is very accurate and it is pretty good with damage. It is a good alternative to the ACR until you unlock it.

I know this may come as a shock but XBL was working without a problem. It was nice to play some of the old maps.

A co-worker just texted me and he said he just logged on to xbl and it is working just fine for him. He said it took a while to find a match, but he is able to load xbl and all the new maps for mw2.
