akimbo rangers are for bitches. not a lot of things piss me off more than shooting a full clip into someone's face with my ump45 and then they turn around and double tap their rangers from halfway across the map. plus, rangers look like hooves from the first person view. use a real man's secondary: spas 12, akimbo g18s, .44 mag, or the striker.

I don't understand this point of view. Why not use the best weapon available? Perhaps killing me with nothing more than a pistol makes you more of a man, but it also makes you a stupid man.

But seriously, why wouldn't you use the rangers? And I think you're wrong about the range. The Rangers do not have pre-patched 1887-like range. If I'm ever out in the open with those things, I'm screwed against anything but more rangers.

No point in making it harder on yourself. If you think they are technically deficient, please explain why (you've alluded to it, but you haven't given any reasons yet). So far their only deficiency appears to be that you killed by them too much and you think they look lame (no argument here on that point).

How do rangers destroy your mobility? You never aim down the site, so you're always with full mobility.

For some reason I don't like rangers. I find the range (poor pun unintended) too frustrating and since I usually have commando on, if someone is close enough to get with the rangers, I could just as easily stab them.

I like the AA-12 with the extended clip as I usually find myself engaging multiple enemies at a time (that's just what i do). But I do like the M1014 since you can get off two shots very quickly if the first doesn't kill, and I think the range is good. The SPAS is by far the easiest to kill one person with, but again, if there is a group, get ready to melee after killing the first guy.

Thank you sir. I haven't noticed slower sprinting, but maybe I'm used to running with an assault rifle. I think sprinting with rangers seems fast!

I like the rangers as a secondary, but only because I don't use my secondary unless it is very close quarters and the odds are in my favor. Otherwise, I just back away. Better part of valor and all that.

I hate the slow cock speed of the 1887s. I do like the Spas-12, but not enough to switch from the rangers full time - yet. Most of my weapon kills are with whatever assault rifle I have.

I have not noticed this problem using the spas. my tactic is if i am able to knife the first guy, take that option. Then shoot the second guy standing, when 3rd guy is turning around to get me, drop shot him and move on. I am pretty consistent with getting multi-kills before I am killed using my spas alone. This weekend on Quarry I went something like 38-3 with Phat. My primary was the spas-12 marathon/stopping power/ninja and if needed range pulled out my M4A1 holo.

Did you just prestige? I can't think of any other reason to be using that gun.
