Okay, folks, we PS3 people need to confess the ugly truth... PSN sucks. It really does. It is OFTEN a real pain to put together a party, even when everyone is online. People get randomly kicked out of games too often, and servers drop games more often than any of us would care to admit. Now I have no frame of reference to compare this to the Microsoft experience, but the truth is PSN could be a LOT better.

As long as we are being truthful. The Xbox experience is pretty sweet. I would say the biggest difficulty is trying to find a lobby with a full team of six when you initially start. It can take a minute or two. Xbox MW2 is pretty slick at switching hosts when a chicken shit host that is getting smoked backs out. All in all, I am a fan of Xbox live and everything it offers.

I went with the PS3 because my mom surprised me with it as a Christmas gift along with MW2. It was the best gift ever. That's why I'm not on the Xbox.

All in good fun of course. I only wish people read my posts with enough scrutiny to point out all the misspellings, grammatical errors, and inconsistencies.

Anyway, I've had enough of the talk of Xbox v. PS. Instead, I'd like to see Niku's latest installment in his tutorial series. That's some good stuff.

Statistically, the TAR has the best speed + damage stats. I use it on short-to-mid maps, like High Rise, Skidrow, whatever that unfinished bridge one is, and Scrapyard. It has very little recoil if you pair it with a silencer.

The ACR is my weapon of choice for larger maps, although I do use the M16 too.

I haven't unlocked either of those 2 yet. I need to increase my quality time with my XBox

I had a winning record in every game but one last night. I finally figured out a good loadout for the AUG HBAR when I play TDM.

AUGHBAR
Stinger (STFU, Coach)
Claymore
2 stunners
Sleight of Hand Pro
Stopping Power Pro
Steady Aim Pro
Copycat (in case double shotgun guy starts pissing me off)

The only map it's not very good on is Karachi or Sub Base.

It took me some getting used to not having marathon or lightweight, but the increase in kills has offset my initial frustration as I got used to a new style of play.

You obviously are not very good at this game because that gun is my GO TO. Just last night I managed to go 40-3, granted it was in big team, but none the less, 40-3 with the AUG HBAR and called in 3 chopper gunners. The gun is straight nasty and your set up is all wrong. Here is how a real gamer runs it:

Primary: AUG HBAR
Secondary: Javelin
Marathon Pro
Stopping Power Pro
Ninja Pro
2 Flashes
Semtex
Deathstreak: Marty...yes I know its gay, but 8/10 times you die its close range.
Killstreaks: Harrier Strike, Pavelow, Chopper Gunner. ( You might need to modify this down to your level of UAV, Care Package, Predator Missle)

Apparently the processor in the PS3 is so good, and so cheap (no doubt Sony is using it as a loss leader), linking a bunch of them is much more efficient than buying new supercomputers direct.

Again, the DoD has chosen the PS3 over the xBox. If you cannot trust the procurement decisions of the United States Defense Department, you should forfeit your citizenship.
