Fargo is fantastic. Which means you will probably stop that halfway through also.

I was sick last weekend and watched the whole 10 episodes. It gets better. I really enjoyed it.

The pilot was OK but then they killed off the only interesting character.

I tried another episode and now I am definitely done. The problem with this show is that once it settles into the basic premise, the plot is predictable and tedious. Dumb guys fix one problem and get into another. Ho hum. Also, none of these guys are sympathetic or interesting so I don't care if bad things happen to them.

And don't get me started on the plot.

The bad guys want the boat badly enough to shoot Milo but they give the other guys 24 hours to get it back? Are you kidding me? Put a gun to their heads and they would tell you in one second. And you don't even tail them? You guys are smart enough to build a criminal empire but not smart enough to solve this incredibly simple problem? And if the boat is close enough that you walk to it but nobody bothers to cruise the shoreline for ten minutes to find it? So incredibly dumb.

After that relatively engrossing first episode, however, things quickly becomes repetitive, and despite the actors’ game investment in the material, it’s difficult to care much about a group of middle-aged men who constantly snipe at each other and do a fine job of getting themselves in deeper trouble every time they try to dig themselves out of a bad situation. The circular nature of the overall story is the biggest problem in “Mad Dogs”: Once it’s clear that every attempt to undo previous mistakes will only land the men in deeper trouble — and that basic scenario keeps playing out over and over — it becomes challenging to stick with the show.

Also, the IMDB rating is only 7.6. That is OK for a movie but well into the mediocre range for a tv series.

I can almost guarantee that if you don't like it after the first episode, you're not going to like it. In fact, it may begin to infuriate you.
