    Television 2013

    I couldn't find another thread for this year's new TV offering. A couple of shows I'm excited about are slated for 2013 releases.

    House of Cards: a Netflix original, starring Kevin Spacey, Robin Wright, Kata Mara () and Assassin Actual from Generation Kill. David Fincher is EP and directs the first two episodes. All episodes are available for instant streaming on Netflix starting this Friday.

    Ray Donovan: Showtime, stars Liev Schrieber as an L.A. fixer. Jon Voight is his dad. I don't think this starts until summer.

                  I want to check it out. My wife gave a "meh" rating on it, but I don't fully trust it as she was in a bad mood at the time.

                                          The guy who directed the pioot for The Americans is the director of Miracle and Warrior -- two of the better sports movies in recent years, especially Warrior.

                                              I liked it. Pretty good for broadcast tv. Haven't watched last nights episode yet though.

                                                      I've got the newest seasons of Archer and Portlandia accumulating on DVR. I'm also very excited for Mad Men (April) and Breaking Bad (July...?).
