It's been disappointing to me. For one, ten hours is not enough time to do the Bible. It's rushed. Secondly, they really don't seem to get in to the spirituality, or the why's too much. Most of the main characters seem a bit like assholes, and not too sympathetic. But I'm still in the Old Testament...God was pretty hardcore back then, so why should I expect the prophets to be sensitive cryers like men in the church today?Originally posted by FN Phat View PostAgreed. I DVR'd the Bible last night as well. The previews looked stellar."Remember to double tap"

This first episode was pretty hard for me to watch. Rape, a multiple stabbing murder, and the creepy mother-son vibe made me turn away many times. It's a great cast, but I'm not sure I can stick with it.Originally posted by Surfah View PostThis looks interesting, I'll have to check it out. I like the kid playing Norman. Vera Farmiga seems like a good cast because I find her a bit odd looking. Sometimes she looks like Marilyn Manson to me.

Last night's episode of Justified was outstanding. I still like the second season the best, but this fourth season has been pretty good.
The Americans has also been very good, I highly recommend it.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Hannibal is premiering tonight on NBC. Alan Sepinwall has been raving about it and he loves it through its first five episodes. NBC has been struggling mightily, but if this show is as good as some of the critics are saying it is, then I hope it can stick around despite this time slot being a death sentence for about 10 shows in the past 3 years.Part of it is based on academic grounds. And of course KSL has now dropped the show.Originally posted by clackamascoug View PostThose butterfly corpses on a promo caught my attention.Kids in general these days seem more socially retarded...
None of them date. They hang out. They text. They sit in the same car or room and don't say a word...they text. Then, they go home and whack off to internet porn.
I think that's the sad truth about why these kids are retards.

I was surprised that KSL hadn't caught on after the second episode. It's the most gory network TV show I've ever seen and this past episode was the worst yet. I'm not going to fault KSL for this. I think there's a strong possibility that if they just strung together two hours of that show and gave it to the motion picture ratings people, the thing would be rated R. That is my whole problem with KSL getting rid of it. They freaked out about 'The New Normal' which may not be very good, but is actually a pretty sweet show. And yet, they let Hannibal go for many episodes before stopping it. So, gay people in a relationship is worse than the murder and goriness of Hannibal? KSL picks strange battles. I guess they realized that they looked pretty silly and hurry and pulled Hannibal. I guess if the main character on Hannibal was gay, it would have been pulled earlier.Originally posted by Color Me Badd Fan View PostI was surprised that KSL hadn't caught on after the second episode.
