You may be surprised. This is not "South Pacific" or any musical you've probably ever seen.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostUmm... its a movie where people sing?“There is a great deal of difference in believing something still, and believing it again.”

We saw it at noon today. My kids (10/13) have never seen the musical. My 10 y/o daughter did not care for it. It is a little mature for her. However, the 13 y/o said it wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be, which translates into he liked it. I thought it was excellent!"I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull's a$$, but I'd rather take a butcher's word for it". - Tommy Callahan III

I've been scarred. I have 4 older sisters (no brothers) and was subjected to many a musical movie night (all types: Phantom, sound of music, south pacific, les mis, etc.). I never got to pick. It's stuck with me. I hate musicals.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostYou may be surprised. This is not "South Pacific" or any musical you've probably ever seen.

Siefried and Crowe are the weak links, as expected, but they made a few changes to Javert's numbers which render them mostly passable. Jackman was mostly good, though a few of the higher pitches seemed strained. Hathaway was remarkable. A number of others were quite good.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν
