With regard to the Last Kingdom, you have to wonder about the decision to cast an actress as King Alfred's wife who was around 22 when the show started. Now she's 27 and her character is the mother of the new king, Edward, who appears to be the same age as the actress playing his mother.Last edited by Color Me Badd Fan; 05-11-2020, 09:44 PM.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Yeah. I like her. In fact, I started off Team Applegate, but I think I prefer Judy. Gidget started watching this last week and I jumped in with her. Pretty entertaining show.Originally posted by falafel View PostYes! Loved season 1. Linda Cardellini is on my short list."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Pretty lame so far. I liked season 1 but the soap opera-like 'return' of an important character early on is dumb. Not sure if I'll finish it.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostDead to Me Season 2!

Star Trek: The Next Generation
There is very little that interests me on Netflix, but I decided to watch a few Star Trek TNG episodes. To begin with, I'll be watching all of the episodes with Q in them. And now that I'm through the third one in that group I realize that I then need to watch all of the Borg episodes.
Any other particular categories worth watching in STTNG?

I am about 30 minutes into “Trial by Media” and it is pretty fascinating. It starts off with the story of Johnathan Schmitz who killed the guy who as attracted to him and outed it on the Jenny Jones Show.
Will see how it goes the rest of the documentary but that was a eye-catching starter..
Another interesting note is that it was co-produced by George Clooney..

Spoiler for “musings”:Hey I think there is a chance the brother is alive. At the time he was ‘killed’ the lawyer lady (sorry I’m terrible w names) was already suspect for her shenanigans trying to set up Jason Bateman, and that hitman was one of Navarro’s guys, right? I mean the body was already wrapped and sealed when delivered and they didn’t bother to check. And the actual killing wasn’t shown at all."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"
