Loved every minute of this three ep series. Watched it tonight with the missus. Fantastic TV.

This drops tonight on Netflix. Just watched the pilot on Youtube. I hadn't really read much about it and expected comedy. There's a dash of it, but it seems to be pretty dark. There's no semi to your semi-serious. Pilkington does a pretty fantastic job and Gervais' Derek character may grow on me after a few episodes, but seems somewhat forced in the first episode.

That's just it though. I don't think it's supposed to be funny. At all. Warm at times, maybe. But not funny. Overall, it makes for a rather frustrating viewing experience.
