I have been informed that Shirley Maclaine will be added to next season's cast as Cora's mother. I am most pleased by the prospect of her sparring with Maggie Smith. And while I remained stoic throughout, the women in my family were in tears during last night's episode. War is hell. So is impotence, or so I've heard.Comment

Anyone else disappointed with the episode last night?
I don't want to give anything away. It was the first time I rolled my eyes at the plot. Hopefully they are able to tidy things up some. It was a little to out there for me.
And I did enjoy the SNL sketch. It had me laugh last night when people were actually eavesdropping.Comment
