This only makes sense if you assume the intended audience sees swearing as edgy. If the show only aired in areas where people tend not to speak that way, then I'd agree with you, but the way these characters swear is just how a lot of people speak these days. I'm guessing the writers would tell you they shoot for the realistic dialog of their audience.

Now I am laughing at all of the dumb negative reviews on IMDB. Woke?
I recently watched all of the released seasons of Slow Horses for the first time. I quite enjoyed it.

I need to get back on this. I think I’m missing the last 2 seasons.

Jackson Lamb is a great character.

The last season of Slow Horses is great. Jackson Lamb is great. The rest of the show is just okay.

Gary Oldman is fantastic in Slow Horses. He cracks me up.

The scene in Shrinking where they are singing "The Confrontation" from Les Mes. was excellent!! Harrison's look was priceless..

Does anyone agree with me that Shrinking has fallen off a cliff this season? I can barely get through each episode. The writing has changed and it feels like they've made every character a cartoon of their Season 1 and 2 selves.

Haven't gotten that far yet. Just finished Season 1.

I didn’t love the first three episodes. But I’ve liked it better as the season progresses.

The current Shrinking episode was a eturn to form, especially with physically deteriorating but very touching Harrison Ford's performance, who responds to Jimmy's complaints about hardships.
                          Spoiler for mild spoiler:

Agreed. That was a great season finale.

Widow's Bay is a fun watch. It's a mix of comedy and horror with a splash of drama. Feels like Weapons, Jaws, Lost and Santa Clarita Diet were put in a blender.
