Keep munching on that salad while your succulent and juicy steak gets cold. Seriously, Mass Effect 2 is so good that you should just get into it dude. GO GO GO!Originally posted by mpfunk View PostSo I'm having a really hard time getting into Fallout 3 as it seems too open. I tend to like a good balance between openness and having a narrative, like Mass Effect. I gave it a good couple of hours before I put it aside and started playing Mass Effect again to try to get a level 60 character to import to Mass Effect 2.

I know, I need to just play Mass Effect 2. It will probably be another couple weeks before I get my hands on a copy of it. I just finished up getting my character to level 60 in preparation for Mass Effect 2.Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostKeep munching on that salad while your succulent and juicy steak gets cold. Not sure where this belongs, but I just took some european chocolates to a YM in the ward. He wasn't home but someone was home but they wouldn't answer the door. I called the YM on his phone and he told me it was his moms boyfriend that was home but he was busy saving the world (meaning playing an online video game) to answer the door. Crazy!"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

I don't see anything I don't like. A friend of mine recently rented battlefield 2 and I gave it a shot for the first time, and the destructable environments add more to the game than I ever imagined it could. With graphics like that, I don't see how this is anything short of a must buy. MW3 still has some convincing to do, especially since they want me to pay a subscription fee now for the full experience.Originally posted by Coach McGuirk View PostHere is some multiplayer action. Im not big on vehicles rolling through multiplayer. You can see the effects where all you see are explosions. I think the buildings being able to break apart could be cool, but could also end up very very bad.

I'm not a gamer. At all. In fact, outside of a little 007 on the N64 in my freshman year of college, I've never played a first-person shooter game. But I found this write-up of LA Noire to be both hilarious and fascinating.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Grantland is Simmons and Klostermans new website. I heard him pimping it on PTI.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostI'm not a gamer. At all. It is weird to see that site as I'm a huge Klosterman fan and not so much a fan of Simmons. I've always though Simmons was a wannabe Chuck Klosterman.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostGrantland is Simmons and Klostermans new website.
