I wondered about it because I saw an ad for it on tv earlier today and PS3 was the only system that I could see being mentioned.
It was originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive but that changed awhile ago. It won't be available on th Wii, at least not at launch.

    The graphics engine is unbelievable.

I'm looking forward to getting the game. It's available on my mother-in-law's birthday, so I know what I'll be giving her for a gift.

This is one of the games I saw in depth at PAX. Waited an hour in line, but got a 20 min preview of the game with one of the developers in a smaller private room type setting.

This game has some graphic images in it. Full female nudity, and on mutilated bodies dead bodies too. Not for the faint of heart.

The conversational interogation sequences are really amazing, but almost too good graphically. I kinda felt like we are approaching that line of computer vs film realism where it would have been better to just watch film footage.

My son and I started the co-op last night. Great fun.

Enjoy. The interactive map of Los Angeles alone is worth the price of admission.

You should have gone to kmart. I got a $20 gaming credit and any free game valued under $20. I got twilight princess for the wii.

I heard this game is 3 discs on 360 so I went with the ps3. It's awesome so far, though I haven't played much. The faces on the characters are amazing.

                    • I've heard a ton of great things about "LA Noire". It's been a long time since I bought a non-sports video game for myself, but it sounds like this will be the first.

                      • Another vote for Star Wars III : Clone Wars.

The kids and I have been playing it constantly for the last couple of weeks. We finished the story mode and I have been helping them farm up studs to buy all the characters.

I like 3D's idea of making my own profile so I can go for 100% completion.

                            • So I'm having a really hard time getting into Fallout 3 as it seems too open. I tend to like a good balance between openness and having a narrative, like Mass Effect. I gave it a good couple of hours before I put it aside and started playing Mass Effect again to try to get a level 60 character to import to Mass Effect 2.

I don't want to bag on ME, cause I really enjoyed it, but it's about as open as a set of train tracks.
