Of course there won't be enough of them. There will be a lot of people that want to get one and will only get one if they pay a huge premium.

I actually really wanted to get a NES classic for my son. Instead, I'm buying a Raspberry Pi for his birthday and putting together a RetroPie for him. I'll be passing on the SNES classic in favor of that.

I would be interested in buying this except I recently realized that all the games I care about are on Wii's virtual console. I downloaded Link to the Past and played through it a few weeks ago. It was as fun as I remember. I've now got a long list of games I need to play through again.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... I'm not falling for the old Nintendo-grossly-underreleases-a-high-demand-product routine. And why the hell did they cut production of the NES classic if they wanted to sell the SNES Classic?

The Switch is going to have a $20 per year subscription service that will include monthly downloads of the classics. I'm all set.

So Battlefront 2 was released to a bit of controversy, people mad b/c EA has little "loot crates" in-game you can buy to unlock heroes and stuff. Well- you can still unlock all that stuff by playing longer and accomplishing feats. I don't see the big deal.

Anyway, this game is amazing so far. I haven't had a chance to really dive into it, but so far there is just an overwhelming amount of content. Lots of multiplayer modes that are a lot of fun- even if you're playing on an all-droid team in a Clones vs. Droids matchup. I'll return and report more when I get a chance to dip into the 1 player mode and some of the other stuff...

its the way that all the FPS games have gone. I hate it but you will hard pressed to find a new game without them.

I guess I see the beef if it's very important to you to be powered up during online multiplayer. It used to be micro transactions were reserved for in-game skins, stuff like that. Now it's to level up. I'm not paying anything to level up my guy. I'll just wait a couple weeks until I level up on my own.
