Looks like it will be McQueen's most approachable movie yet (his others are pretty tough viewing). I'm very excited for it.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

      • Perks of Being a Wallflower. So good. I fell in love with the three lead characters. I'm going to pick up the book.

Loved it as well. Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. That last scene is so good.

Prepare for disappointment. I read the book years ago and it was kinda

That's disappointing. Maybe I'll borrow it from the library then.

                This is 40 is great.

How many books do you re-read? And do you still borrow books from the library and not just download them?

I rarely re-read books. To be honest the only book I have read multiple times for pleasure is To Kill a Mockingbird. Yeah I still borrow books from the library.

                        • Saw The Saratov Approach over the weekend. It's the second movie I've seen in the past couple of weeks where the ending music reminded me of the ending music from Inception. Captain Phillips was the other. As far as the movie itself, I was pleasantly surprised that it surpassed my expectations. IMHO, it's the best Mormon film produced to date.

Watched it last night. It was ok. I might be a little to homophobic for a movie like that. I also can't relate because I have never been an outsider, always one of the popular kids. With that being said, I imagine at least one gothic adolescent watched that movie and pulled the gun away from his head. So it served its purpose.

Great review -- sounds like something Kenny Powers would have written.

Speaking of Kenny Powers the new season of Eastbound and Down is hilarious.
