Really enjoyed the dynamic between the two cops and good performances from both. The climatic scene was really well done and had my heart racing.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I think the way this works is you are supposed to give a little review of some kind.

        I thought this movie sucked.

Some movies are unworthy of my reviews.

          • Watched Side Effects. I liked it quite bit, though ... like most Soderbergh films ... I think it gets a little (or a lot) more praise than it deserves from some. It was an interesting thriller, but there were plenty of flaws.

I actually liked it better when I thought ir was about the negative effects of anti-depressants the twist ruined it.

I think I would have hated it without the twist ... not because the subject matter wouldn't have been interesting, but because I usually find Soderbergh films dreadfully boring when he is trying to make a point (see Contagion). The twist saved the film, in my opinion ... even if it was completely implausible.

                • Just finished watching Jaws for the umpteenth time in my life. Still a great movie. I've seen worse acting in newer movies. Plus, it was/is rated PG.

                    • I watched Skyfall earlier this evening.

Theme song: Worst. Ever. By. A. Million. Miles. My hate for that horrendous Adele grows every time I'm forced to hear any of he songs.

Villain: Lame, lame, lame. A double naught spy out for revenge? There were better bad guys in 70's TV show The Hardy Boy/Nancy Drew Mysteries. I'm going to have a tough time ever watching No Country For Old Men ever again.

Daniel Craig: Meh. This is the only Bond film I've seen with him in the role. It doesn't make me want to see the one he did that was a remake or the other one, whatever that was called.

Sean Connery is the only person who should ever be James Bond. Once he stopped making those films, the character should have been retired forever.

Contagion would definitely fall into that category.

I wanted to like this like I liked District 9 but it just didn't pop for me. Jodie Foster was...not good and Damon's performance was good but his character was too flawed to root for IMO.
