Come on. NYPD and LAPD officers don't pack rifles around all day. That scene would have been more believable had everyone been using pistols. There is a world of difference between a pistol and a rifle. You take those NYPD and LAPD officers and give them a dead rest with a rifle on a static target and 2-3 minutes of aiming and those hit rates would get up to 99%.

Sure seemed like everyone was in their respective positions and unharmed. Hank and Gomez covered at least 20 feet to the SUV while hundreds (thousands?) of bullets are fired in their general direction. Dumb luck alone should have resulted in some kind of hit.

I dunno. Seems like Gomie caught one or two, and it really didn't show the nazis that much behind their car doors. Hank looked brazen, standing fully erect with his hand cannon-- that doesn't bode well, especially with the foreshadowing of the "final call" to Marie. It would be way too Game of Thrones if Jesse didn't get to kill Todd, though. I hope he does get in the Chrysler 300 and bounce.

True- it's not really my M.O. to defend the realism of the scene when I know it's imaginary. Just citing what the article says in light of SandyY's comment/quote of the article.

I always thought the shootout scene in Unforgiven, was what would most likely happen if bullets were truly being fired everywhere. I know I would be just as likely to shoot myself, or a friend, as my target, if I really thought my life was in danger (and yes, I know how to shoot a gun. It was a requirement growing up in redneck BFE, like I did)

Speaking of Todd, that dude is way too Gangster. Jesse punches him, yet Todd has zero reaction when he gets the order on him. Just "ok, I'll tell my uncle."

I'm pretty sure the "yeah bitch" aaron paul has been hyping as one of the best was delivered in this last episode. I'm also pretty sure it wasn't one of the best.

Fire In the Hole, Bitch was pretty clever, just not climactic or punch line-esque like "magnets, bitch."

It is possible that Gomie did get hit, they just didn't show or imply that in any way. I guess we'll see next week.

Hmm. I'll have to go back and watch- he just seemed anguished raising that shotgun. Maybe that's just required to fire a shotgun into a barrage of fire.
