there are episodes like that where the whole purpose is character development and the bond that Walter and Jesse create. They're kind of lame and I fell asleep during them or sometimes I just skipped them. There was another one in season 3 (maybe season 4) that I just completely skipped because I had no interest in seeing them try to kill a fly for 50 minutes.Originally posted by The_Douger View Post

I'm ready for the last 8 episodes already. Sheesh this wait is killing me.
In the meantime, I've seen a good amount of theorizing about how Walt is going to meet his end, who's going to kill him, how he's going out in flames. I tend to disagree with those predictions--though if I have to pick one of them it is a showdown between Walt and Hank+DEA where Jesse ultimately ends it. My own prediction is that we see Walt live while everyone else becomes a casualty. And while he walks off into the sunset with his empire and his power, we're left to ponder what good it's all going to do him now that he's entirely and utterly alone. Walt essentially becomes the metaphorical cancer that kills the people around him--if not literally then figuratively--and doesn't get any such poetic ending as going down in a flurry of bullets. Nope, he lives. Alone. With nothing and no one.
