It is.... the end of the world as we know it.
Cranston will for sure win it next year. Daniels vs season 4 Cranston is whatever for me.

Good episode. Starting to tie things up, building to a big(ish) finish. The 3rd to last seems pretty clearly to be the highlight, judging from Gilligan's comments, but I assume the finale will have some fireworks.

Meanwhile, Dexter's finale was quite strong, I thought. not enough to save a wasted season (or 3), but better than I expected.

Absolutely loved the Breaking Bad theme there at the end. Too good.

Hmm. Maybe a possibility. There have been a lot of allusions for a while now to Lydia's tea. At one point Walt considered poisoning it. Tonight there were again very deliberate shots of her tea, with Todd also ordering tea at the restaurant. And funny thing on what she ordered...chamomile. Who orders chamomile during the day? It's famous for making you sleep. Could it set up her dirt nap? But can't really see what the motivation is there, unless he's just trying to take everyone out.

Also, an episode or two ago Marie was researching non-traceable poisoning agents. Can't wait to find out what she's up to.

Oh also-- Loved Robert Forster here as the "disappear man." I loved him in Jackie Brown and this role was right in the same vein- a do-it-all go-to guy who is straightforward and gets it done if the price is right. Sort of a true badass in a different kind of way.

            Agreed. He was great.

It seems like Lydia was wanting to take out Skyler-- maybe that comes to light. I can see Walter taking out Lydia without a second thought. If he kills her, he kills connections to the European demand that might be a danger to his family.

I predict a musical chair version of kill or be killed next week. It'll be interesting to see who's sitting in the chair by themselves at the end.

True. Outside of Todd's crew, she's the only one that knows anything about Skyler or the White family. Take all of them out of the equation and Skyler is safe.

A great episode, even if it wasn't particularly enjoyable. For me, this show has always been about chickens coming home to roost, and Vince and his gang continue to produce the most honest show I've ever watched. I didn't see the skinheads shooting Andrea as a cheap way to make us hate them even more. I see it as yet another horrible, unintended consequence.

That Todd character is fantastic. Never a hint of emotion on his face. Way more scary than his uncle.

Yeah - that was the consequence. It's not like Jesse wasn't warned.

I loved the last sequence in the bar. Flynn is my favorite character this season.

Walter White is dead. Heisenberg is in his place.

People are going to be writing dissertations on this show for years.

Did you see the way he plucked the hair off Lydia's sweater at the end of the meeting? Super creepy.

I didn't think it was low hanging fruit either.

As soon as he showed up there, my stomach just sank.

Jesse's willingness to try and please Lydia will be his undoing.
