  • That's pretty good. So does AI sharpen old photographs then?

I'm going to download and try that one next. It's claimed to manage missed focus, but I don't know how well that will work with scans of old stuff. They both have 30 day trials. I didn't used to shoot above ISO 1600 except when it couldn't be helped (night high school football games) but with this processing, I'll go 6400 without being concerned.

Here's ISO 3200. Completely clean with plenty of detail in the eye and feathers.

Highland Falls. Fairways and greens are in really good shape right now.

Finally downloaded (actually purchased 4 of the AI products).

AI Sharpen works well on just slightly soft or slightly missed focus. Like a head shot portrait that isn't quite focused on the eye, it will do a very good job of sharpening the eye. Still have more to play with.

I shared this one previously in Before and Afters. Click on each and then zoom in to see differences in details.

Here's a slightly missed focus osprey.

Here's a previous attempt to sharpen.

                              Here's after AI Sharpen.

                              • Love it. Really cool what AI was able to do there. No doubt technology and accompanying results will continue to improve the end results.
