I have a small pair that my kids share but for the most part we don't. The zoom lens, on the other hand, is very helpful to capture what I want to.

Do you need binoculars when you go bird watching? I've never really done it.

Wife wanted to go to the bird refuge in Box Elder County for Mother's Day, so off we went. I am currently test driving a 150-600 lens which was able to get these. My only complaint is following birds in flight with it out at 600 is not easy.

Love that 5th to last pic. Of course the missus is laughing at my color vision deficiency, because I guess it's not colored the way I thought it was.
