50 still photos taken every 10 hours for 4 weeks. The black spots are moons rotating past.

I wonder if some meteorologist could explain the atmospheric conditions that would allow the red eye to remain a constant on Jupiter's appearance.

Obviously there was once life on Jupiter, however their lust for oil and CO2 burning SUVs (but not CO2 emitting cattle) caused massive amounts of carbon output. This, coupled with the government's failure to impose cap and trade legislation, led to massive CO2 output and global warming. The global warming created a giant hurricane that wiped out all the inhabitants. God now allows the hurricane to remain in perpetuity as a reminder to all earthly inhabitants that we must take care of our God given earth or we will suffer the same fate.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

So, this morning was literacy day at my daughter's school. I went and read Si le das un panecillo a un alce (If You Give a Moose a Muffin) in Spanish and English. We own the book in Spanish, but they were providing me with a copy. When I got there, I found it with this post-it on it.

Apparently the Catholic Church has decided to celebrate my birthday as a high holy holiday too.
